One more day at sea before we reach Ft. Lauderdale. It was a usual sea day for us; coffee on the
deck while we watched the sun come up to start with. Breakfast in Sabatini’s again this
morning. It is really a nice place to
have breakfast and get the day started right.
After breakfast we attended a lecture on the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor. The US made so many blunders leading up to
that attack, no wonder it was such a lost to start the war.
We had lunch in the Explorer’s lounge, they were having a
pub lunch and fish and chips with mushy peas was one of the offerings. Not as good as our fish and chips in London,
but still good enough to eat.
It was formal night to night, but we elected to grab a
hamburger up by the pool and call it a night.
We watched a movie, read some and then headed to bed.
The weather is warm and the seas are smooth, so it was a
good night for sleeping.
